The village has a nice sports complex available, offering tennis, legball, volleyball, floorball and other ball games. Not far from the village there is a football pitch.

Walking

The Jizerské Mountains offer a variety of appealing destinations – stone viewpoints, valley dams, the peat bogs, the museums at Jizerka and Kristiánov. More able-bodied walkers set out for day trips, climbers ascend the granite rocks and towers, water-lovers enjoy themselves on the Kamenice, Jizera and Směda rivers.

Cycling

This is ideal terrain for mountain-biking. This is where leisure riders come into their own, while connoisseurs will seek out the more challenging routes. A ride along these mountain paths is a real experience. In the Jizerské Mountains not only are there special signs for cyclists, but the classic walkers` markings will also make it easier to find your way around.

Jizerské Mountains – skiers` paradise

The flat terrain on the Jizerské mountain highlands, over 800 m above sea level, especially attract cross-country skiers. There are many dozens of kilometres of machine-prepared routes and other footpaths which have not been mechanically treated. The main cross-country ski routes, which criss-cross the whole ridge from Bedřichov to Polubný, are known as the Jizerská skiers‘ highway.

Downhill skiing

In the south of the central part of the Jizerské Mountains is where downhill skiers will find the terrain that suits them, and the three largest complexes – Bedřichov, Severák and Špičák – successfully compete with the most famous centres in the neighbouring Krkonoše Mountains. Liberec is also a major centre with the Ještěd ski complex, which offers a variety of slopes of differing lengths and difficulty to suit absolutely everyone.
